Course Description
Objective
This course aims to train students to master the design requirements of building water supply system and understand the strategic management of building water supply system, so as to improve the industry's professional level of building water supply system design and management.
Content
- Design specifications of water meter room and water meter box
- Design water consumption and calculate pipe size
- Type of water pump and method for selecting water pump
- Installation and connection of water pump
- Installation specifications of various hot water stoves
- Central hot water system
- Systematic cleaning
- Mixing water tank cleaning
- Application of different hose materials
Requirements & Assessment
Target Audience
Technician or engineer in water engineering or building water supply system management and maintenance industry.
Prerequisites
- There are no specific admission requirements. Priority will be given to the following individuals:
- Macau citizen
- Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
- Recommended by employer or related industry
- Completed "Plumbing services and maintenance (Macau) course" or "Plumbing Services and Maintenance Workshop" organized by Marine and Water Bureau
Assessment
100% attendance and complete all in-class exercises
Certificate
Joint Certificate of Completion issued by CPTTM & Marine and Water Bureau (with 100% attendance and completed in-class exercises).
Remark
- This course is co-organized by Marine and Water Bureau and the Macau Productivity & Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM).
- Enrollment deadline: 12 November, 2026
- Students whose attendance is 100% or greater will be reimbursed 100% of the fee.
