Course Description
Objective
In this course, students will learn basic Japanese sentence structure. Upon completion, students will be able to form sentences using adjectives and simple verb forms, expressing likes and dislikes. This is one of the 3 modules of “Introductory Japanese”.

- Expressing an invitation
- Providing and receiving an action
- The uses of adjectives and adverbs
- Asking and expressing an opinion or an impression
- Expressing likes and dislikes
- Expressing a reason
Requirements & Assessment
Target Audience
Suitable for beginners who are interested in learning Japanese.
Prerequisites
- Prior completion of “Introductory Japanese I (LG90.1 / BC250.1)” or
- a Japanese background equivalent to a completion of “みんなの日本語 I (Minna no Nihongo I)” Chapter 1 to Chapter 5
Assessment
at least 80% attendance and completing in class performance, exercises and test.
