Objective	Using the syllabus of the TOEIC® Listening and Reading test as the basis for instruction, this course aims to strengthen the English listening and reading ability of the participants by practise : listening to a variety of topics in general and specific work scenarios, and reading a variery of office documents such as notices, work instructions, memoranda, faxes/letters and business charts etc . The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC® )is developed by ETS® (Educational Testing Service) in the United States as a means to measure an individual’s level of proficiency to effectively communicate in English in a workplace setting. For more than 30 years, over 14,000 organizations (businesses, government agencies, universities and vocational schools) in 150 countries rely on the TOEIC® tests as an indication of English proficiency (see "Remarks" below).

Prerequisite	High school graduate or above, with a pass in the English subject.
