Objective	This course aims to improve students’ understanding on factory manufacturing technology and processes, strengthen their concept of garment proportion. Students will learn basic knowledge of garment manufacturing, measurement method, production drawing and create the garment specification sheet. At the end of the course, student will create the proper garment specification sheet of MaConsef Fashion Incubation Program’s chosen design.
Content	Overview of basic knowledge in garment production (fabrics, trims, packaging, washing, methods for connecting two pieces of fabric, sewing, and ironing) Explanation of fabric knowledge Garment measurement method the use of professional terminology in production descriptions Creating production drawing Learning to create garment specification sheet Designing styles for fashion collections and creating garment specification sheet
