Objective	The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform an internal audit of part of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS) based on ISO 45001 and report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011.

Target audience	Staff who are charged with the responsibility to develop, maintain and audit an OH&SMS; All OH&SMS auditors who wish to acquire an internationally recognized auditor status; Those who wish to explore career opportunities in management system auditing.
Prerequisite	CQI IRCA recommends students that they are expected to have the following prior knowledge: Management System - The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review, and continual improvement. OH&SMS - A basic knowledge of managing OH&S through hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control; the relationship between OH&S management and the provision of safe and healthy workplaces, the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, and the proactive improvement of health and safety performance. ISO 45001 - An understanding of the requirements of ISO 45001 and the commonly used OH&SMS terms and definitions. They are subject to selection by CPTTM.
