  • Upon completion of the course, participants would have gained a comprehensive knowledge of sake, including the various production methods and their impact on style, quality and price of sake, as well as knowledge on sake tasting techniques and sake sales in Japan’s domestic and international market.
  • The tasting exercises will have an increased focus on describing the characteristics and evaluating the quality of sake, using the WSET Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting Sake (SAT).
  • Participants will take the WSET® Level 3 Examination(English paper) at the end of the course and upon satisfactory passing the examination, will attain an internationally recognized WSET® Level 3 Award in Sake.

  • Applicants are recommended to have already attained WSET Level 1 Award in Sake
