Objective	This is the third course of the CCNA series of courses consisting of 3 courses. It introduces the architectural knowledge and considerations related to the design, protection, operation and maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise networks. Course content includes wide area network (WAN) technology, quality of service (QoS) mechanisms for protecting remote access, and software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support fully digital networks.
Content	Semester3 : Configure single-area OSPFv2 in both point-to-point and multiaccess networks Explain how to mitigate threats and enhance network security using access control lists and security best practices Implement standard IPv4 ACLs to filter traffic and secure administrative access Configure NAT services on the edge router to provide IPv4 address scalability Explain techniques to provide address scalability and secure remote access for WANs Explain how to optimize, monitor, and troubleshoot scalable network architectures Explain how networking devices implement QoS Implement protocols to manage the network Explain how technologies such as virtualization, software defined networking, and automation affect evolving networks
Assessment	For each semester, the average score of online module assessment is >= 60 and the score of online semester exam & practical exam for each semester is >= 60.
Target audience	Those who would like to acquire the networking skills to enter the IT industry; Those who would like to take the CCNA certification.
Prerequisite	completed course CCNA :Switching, Routing and Wireles Essentials Able to read English materials.

Hold H3CNA, CCNA, CCNP and CISCO Certificate Instructor Trainer, Microsoft MOS master certification and won the Outstanding Teacher Award of Cisco Networking Academy. Have more than 10 years of network maintenance and professional training experience, has taught information technology courses for many companies and government departments.

Remark	This is one of the semesters for the whole CCNA curriculum, students are recommanded to study the CCNA R&S curriculum in the order: 1, 2,and 3. The requirement of both attendance of lecture and lab are at least 80%.
