Objective The CCNA students will learn about H3C routers and switches and to use H3C command line to perform configuration. After completion of the course, the students should be able to take the H3C Certified Network Engineer Certification Exam.
  • Computer Network Fundamentals: LAN and WAN fundamentals, TCP/IP protocol stack and OSI reference model
  • Getting Started with H3C Network Devices: Understanding H3C routers, switches, and their OS, CLI basics
  • Configuring LAN Switching: Ethernet switches basic configuration, VLAN, 802.1Q tag, and trunk links, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Port security and link aggregation
  • Advanced TCP/IP: IP subnetting, VLSM, and CIDR, DNS, FTP/TFTP, DHCP, IPv6 basics and addressing
  • Configuring IP Routing: IP routing fundamentals and static routes, Overview of routing protocols, RIP, OSPF and the configuration
  • Configuring a Secure Branch Network: Access Control List, NAT
Assessment At least 80% attendance and complete all in-class exercises and assessments.
Target audience Network administrators who want to learn about the configuration of H3C networking equipment or to take the H3CNE Certfification Exam.
  • Completed the CCNA course or hold the CCNA certificate or above, is preferable
  • Being able to read English materials
