Objective This course teaches students to further understand various functions of the software, students will learn how to create a basic pattern and change the pattern in the software. Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired the essential skills of fashion design and pattern making by using the software, aiming to help fashion designers to improve the accuracy of pattern making and improve the efficiency of clothing production.

  • Theory of the relationship between clothing and human body
  • Avatar measurement, edit avatar size, posture and proportion
  • Pattern design
  • Construction of patterns from basic block
  • Edit fabric, color assignment, sewing thread and accessories
  • Seam allowance, grading, print layout, export pattern file
  • Rendering and set render properties
  • Create specification sheet

Prerequisite People who have completed the course ATP495.1 Fundamental of CLO 3D Pattern Software or have knowledge of CLO 3D Pattern Software
