Objective This course is for beginners who wish to become professional fashion designers, focusing on learning all the basic skills on fashion illustration.
  1. Introduction to fashion illustration
  2. Introduction to the equipment and materials used
  3. Basic construction of human figure (learning joints and muscles)
  4. Theory of 8-head figure proportion
  5. Evolution of 9-head to 10-head figure proportion
  6. Drawing eyes, nose, mouth and face proportion
  7. Drawing arms, hands, legs and shoes
  8. Drawing different poses
  9. Drawing real garments (study fabric folds and garment details)
  10. Colouring techniques (colour pencils and water colour)
Assessment Completion of assignments from the instructor.
